PRC Close Protection Course Offerings
June 2017 - Ottawa

Parisien Research Corporation is pleased to announce the creation of two new courses for Close Protection, the Close Protection Team and the Close Protection Team Leader.

The Close Protection (CP) Level 1 - CP Operator course is a five-day course designed to produce a CP Operator who can perform basic CP tasks effectively under supervision as part of a CP Team. The course brochure for this course can be located by clicking here.

The Close Protection (CP) Level 2 - CP Team Leader course is a ten-day course designed to produce a CP Team Leader. The course brochure can be seen here.

It should be noted that neither course includes training in weapon handling. If there is a need to train in weapons, there is a two-day module available for both courses. For more information or request for training, please contact info@parisien.org.


Interviewing, Debriefing and Elicitation Course Registration Open

CBRN/HAZMAT Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) Announcement

The President of Parisien Research Corporation (PRC) is pleased to highlight the release of the latest Robot Canada unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) – the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear/HAZMAT Reconnaissance System (CBRNRS). Available in three sizes, the system is designed to reduce or eliminate the need to place humans into dangerous environments to determine the type and extent of toxic chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear contamination in urban and rural environments or military theatres of operations.

The Canadian Centre of Public Safety Excellence in Summerside PE hs released its schedule of courses for the 2017 training year. Among the courses being offered will be the PRC-developed Basic Tactical Orientation Course (BTOC); the Tactical Negotiator Course; the Interview, Debriefing and Elicitation Course; and the Terrorism 101 course. Canadian Centre of Public Safety Excellence (CCPSE) - New Courses Announced OTTAWA, ON - Parisien Research Corporation (PRC) is pleased to announce that it and its strategic partner, Bremner Associates Inc., will be working with the Canadian Centre of Public Safety Excellence in Summerside PE to present Tactical Negotiations – Level III Negotiator, a Tactical Negotiator Certification Course, from 26 September to 7 October 2016. This course is for officers who want to become certified negotiators. It is designed to produce a qualified lead negotiator for a Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT).

New Courses for Law Enforcement, Intelligence, and Security Organizations

OTTAWA, ON - Parisien Research Corporation (PRC) is pleased to announce the debut of 12 new courses for public safety and security organizations. Under the leadership of Mr. David Clemis CD, MBA, Vice-President of Training and Development, and in conjunction with the Canadian Centre of Public Safety Excellence (CCPSE) and the Atlantic Police Academy (APA) PRC has developed these courses for all personnel from frontline officers to members of specialized response units. Through its strategic partnership with Bremner Associates Inc., PRC has a gathered a team of highly qualified and experienced instructors in the fields of human behaviour, police tactical operations, tactical negotiations, physical surveillance, weapons training, intelligence, and security. These 12 courses are accredited by APA and are available now through their campus in Summerside, PEI or, through special arrangements, anywhere in Canada.
